COUPLES' THERAPY

If you are experiencing conflict within a marriage or an intimate relationship, struggling to make important mutual decisions, are willing to rebuild or strengthen your relationship, have decided to part ways, or need premarital counseling, then couple's therapy is the right type of therapy for you and your partner

CHILD THERAPY

Therapists at ADCSac can help to understand what your child is trying to communicate or how they’re coping with emotional hardship by engaging with them in play therapy. By utilizing play therapy techniques, we can help children to process their feelings that otherwise come out as distressing behaviors at home and at school.

It may feel like walls go up, tension builds and that the family is getting stuck in ruts and ways of interacting that are not making life better at home. Family therapy is helpful in addressing and repairing acute and ongoing problems with communication in families. Therapy

Anxiety Disorder

Therapists at ADCSac will help you to manage, understand and quell excessive worry and rumination as well as physical anxiety symptoms of muscle tension, sleeplessness and panic. We use a variety of modalities, ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and psychodynamic psychotherapy that focuses on origins of anxiety. Uncovering and understanding the root of the anxiety is a major part of our therapy and will help you to feel less burdened and weighed down by your anxiety.

Self Esteem

When a person has a negative opinion of themselves, it can be anywhere from painful to debilitating. We offer CBT and interpersonal therapy that addresses the underlying reasons for one’s low self-esteem and how using self-compassion can help a person to view themselves more positively.

Anger Management

Anger is an emotion we all feel, but for some, it can be explosive and feel like you’re going from 0-100 throughout the day. CBT therapy and psychodynamic therapy can help you to understand why your anger is being triggered so quickly and to help your mind and body let go of the intense anger.
