Trauma

Experiencing post-traumatic event symptoms can be debilitating. Whether you’re experiencing intrusive flashbacks, nightmares, finding that you cannot be in touch with how you feel, or experiencing fear at the mention of anything that reminds you of the trauma, therapy can help! We utilize an array of CBT therapies as well as interpersonally focused therapies to help your mind integrate the traumatic experience as opposed to trying to keep it locked out so that you can live your life free of PTSD symptoms.

When a person has a negative opinion of themselves, it can be anywhere from painful to debilitating. We offer CBT and interpersonal therapy that addresses the underlying reasons for one’s low self-esteem and how using self-compassion can help a person to view themselves more positively.

Anger Management

Anger is an emotion we all feel, but for some, it can be explosive and feel like you’re going from 0-100 throughout the day. CBT therapy and psychodynamic therapy can help you to understand why your anger is being triggered so quickly and to help your mind and body let go of the intense anger.
